To participate in the special exhibition “80 Years of Liberation Netherlands”
It has been 80 years since the Netherlands was liberated by the Allies. IPMS Netherlands thought it would be a good idea to pay attention to this at the ESM on 29 November. To give substance to this, we want to place models of aircraft, vehicles (civil and military), ships and dioramas from the period from roughly September 1944 to May 1945 in a special presentation at the fair. The models on display must have a relevance to the period mentioned and be provided with a story, which may take the form of, for example, photographs, newspaper clippings, an article from a book or magazine, witness statements and possibly wreckage.
The individual interpretation is free for everyone, so that we get an interesting mix of models and dioramas, as long as it fits within the theme Holland 80 Years Liberated. We aim to put this display in a central place at the fair and hope for enthusiastic participation from our members so that we can show a large number of models from the period.
